We are a group based in the DC Metro area that love craft beer and trying new things. Beer Snobs need not apply. We meet 2–3 times a month, the first Thursday of each month we meet at Meridian Pint in DC (starting January 2013) and the first Saturday a month we tour a local (or not too distant) brewery. We also have some outdoor activities such as hiking and biking followed by beer, bottle shares, beer dinners, and soon beer classes!

A forum just for area mead makers to discuss techniques, tastes, and the joy of the art. Sub-categories of mead are fair game, eg, melomels, metheglin, cyser, braggot, etc. However, traditional wine making and homebrewing discussions are generally excluded. They have enough help already!
